Our unique in-house Managing Stress and Building Resilience Training empowers your staff so that they are able to handle stress and build resilience incorporates a combination of Neuro-Linguistic Programming tools, aspects of Wellness Recovery Action Planning, Mindfulness and Open-Eyed Meditation techniques that build a toolbox for mental toughness that have a significant impact for both the individual and the organisation.
We find that people are often too stuck ‘in’ their stressful state in order to see what’s wrong. They tend to generalise a situation and use phrases such as ‘everything is wrong’, ‘he always does this to me’, ‘I never have enough time’ and so on. During our Managing Stress and Building Resilience Training we safely challenge those limiting beliefs underlying those generalisations so that they are able to view situations differently and thus react in a more empowered way.
Providing the ability to ‘take a step back’ and look at the situation, without taking on the emotions associated with being in the situation, gives rise to new opportunities to learn from what’s happening and then take control through a positive enabling action.
Recognising the triggers that cause an individual to feel stressed and providing ways to handle those triggers differently is also an integral part of this course.
Within the Managing Stress and Building Resilience course delegates will also simple open-eyed meditation and mindfulness techniques that they are then able to easily take into their everyday lives to allow them to naturally build their resilience to the challenges they face,
Once people feel more in control and take action towards resolving their own problems, using a solution-based approach that is appropriate and ecological for their situation, they are more than half-way to resolving their stress. This change in their own state will then present in a positive change in their behaviours and interactions with friends, family, colleagues and clients.
